So often people see technology as replacing human interaction. Now I love social media, I love social networking but technology is not replacing the need for humans.
For me technology is freeing the human beings in your organisation so they can spend their day...well 'being human'
Three questions for you
- Is your strategy on social marketing about making it easier for the customer to know who you are?
- Is your strategy for humans to use the technology not for the technology to replace the human interaction?
- Is your strategy aimed at freeing humans rather than replacing them?
These are important questions in order to have a social business model which generates value for both the shareholders AND the customers.
