It may be an old adage but in that one sentence......does it not some up social media?
- Create social marketing that has both reason and emotion - a liberal spread of both.
- Use reason to engage the reader
- Use emotion to move the reader from passive browser to active buyer of the brand
Social marketing at its finest understands this equation, leadership at it's finest understands this equation.
When writing for the web, when writing a press release, when writing an internal announcement.....when speaking to your children!....construct it with this adage in mind...
