The words of Peter Drucker and one that I all think that we can improve upon. For instance..
- Appraisals often talk about achievements...but imagine if they said contributions
- Imagine if we could say what we contributed to society, the life of a consumer, the world of retail etc......it automatically reengineers the way we look at ourselves and our brand
- Social media runs on contribution.....not achievement because achievement is gained on social media through recognition for your social contribution.
If you have contribution as your goal, it helps you see the world as a social world. You need to constantly develop, constantly learn and expand your knowledge..because you have to see how you create value for others...for the world.
